We are excited to announce a refresh of the Library’s homepage and two important sections of the website: Databases and Research Guides. These changes will launch Monday, August 17! These changes are informed by website usage data, user feedback, and a scan of peer academic library websites. This refresh will include:
Homepage changes:
- A simplified navigation menu
- Updated library hours menu to reflect remote services available during the Covid-19 pandemic
- Added hover effect for “Quick Links” and Library Search button

Future Homepage improvements (Coming in 2021) will include:
- A more intuitive and accessible navigation menu
- Prioritizing frequently used resources
- Easier to find library hours
Additional Website changes launching on 8/17/20:
Databases
- All databases will be immediately accessible from this new landing page with filters at the top to find resources more quickly
- Easy to access trials and lists of new resources
- Permalinks
- Icons to identify Open Access resources
Research Guides:
- Option to filter by Subject, Course, or Topic guide or by the name of the Librarian
- Search box to find a guide by title or topic
