Celebrating the winners of the Library Undergraduate Research Award 2019

10 students lined up to celebrate their achievements as winners of the 2019 Library Undergraduate Research Awards.

The Library Undergraduate Research Award (LURA) recognizes students who demonstrate exemplary research and scholarship, including remarkable skill and creativity in the use of library and information resources. Students submit a reflective essay on their research process which is then reviewed, alongside their finished or in-progress research project, by librarians and faculty. The 6th Annual LURA Ceremony was held on April 25, 2019, honoring the following winners:

Senior Award

Natalie McDonald, Pomona
Project title: “Engendering Empire: The British Women’s Military Services in India and the Middle East, 1939–1945”

Aleo Pugh, Pitzer

Junior Award
