Are you finishing a term paper? …starting a senior thesis? …using Library resources in your work? …interested in winning a CASH PRIZE?

Get recognized for your amazing work by applying for The Claremont Colleges Library Undergraduate Research Award (LURA)! The award is accompanied by a cash prize and recognizes exemplary, original student work demonstrating skill and creativity in the use of Library and information resources. It’s open to projects in various formats by individuals or groups, as long as all applicants are undergrads currently enrolled at one of The Claremont Colleges and the work was done for a class or independent study at The Claremont Colleges. You don’t even have to be finished with your paper – works in progress will be accepted!

Submissions are due Sunday, March 5th, 2023 by 11:59 p.m.

You can review examples from prior LURA award winners by visiting our institutional repository, Scholarship@Claremont.

For more information, visit the award homepage or contact the LURA committee via email at LibraryResearchAward@claremont.edu with any questions.
