Connect to Wi-Fi
All current students, faculty, and staff of The Claremont Colleges, as well as eligible guests, have access to Wi-Fi throughout the library.
An encrypted network accessible only to students, faculty, and staff of The Claremont Colleges. To connect, choose the Claremont-WPA network and, when prompted, enter login credentials provided by your home college.
Use your campus network credentials to login (including the @—–.edu). Contact your campus IT Help Desk for support.

Please note:
Android devices may ask for the following to connect to Claremont-WPA:
- EAP Method: PEAP
- Phase 2 Authentication: MSCHAPv2
- CA certificate: use system certificates
- Online Certificate Status: Do not verify or Do not validate
- Domain: your campus domain [e.g., hmc.edu or scrippscollege.edu]
- Identity: your username [e.g., johnd7491@campus]
- Password: your password
- Anonymous Identity: leave blank
Eduroam is a secure wireless service that allows students, faculty, and staff of The Claremont Colleges to use their campus login credentials to access Wi-Fi across the Claremont campuses and in the library.
You can use it when visiting participating educational institutions. Just look for it in your list of wireless options. Learn more about Eduroam.
Use your campus network credentials to login (including the @—–.edu). Contact your campus IT Help Desk for support.
Non-Claremont users can access the internet for free through the Claremont-Guest network at the library. The network has a 12-hour session length and offers speeds up to 10Mbps.
Please be aware that this network does not grant access to internal Claremont resources such as VPN or CAS authentication and since it is not a private network, it’s crucial to avoid sending sensitive information while connected.
Follow the steps below to get started:
- On your device, go to your Wi-Fi settings and choose Claremont-Guest
- You will be prompted to enter a valid email address*
- Click the, I Agree button
- Click Done then navigate the internet as normal
*The email address you use will not be saved, sold, nor used for any other purpose other than to allow you to connect. While logging in, you may click on The Claremont Colleges Policies link to review the terms and conditions for using the Claremont Colleges Guest Network.
