Claremont Colleges students, faculty, and staff can now enjoy complimentary full online access to the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, and Washington Post!
After creating an account for each of these newspapers, you’ll be able to access the full breadth of content available on their site and apps. Beyond news articles, these platforms also offer recipes, games, podcasts, and more. For example, your New York Times account gets you access to Games (Spelling Bee! Crosswords!), Wirecutter, the Athletic, and their extensive archive. Get the full details and directions on signing up in our Newspaper Access Guide.
Note: Besides these three publications, the majority of our newspaper access is through databases, meaning that articles are available as PDFs or HTML. A special account is not needed. Newspaper databases do not use the same graphic interface as the periodical website. Explore these publications on our Databases Page.
If you need help accessing databases or setting up your newspaper account, please reach out to us at eresources@claremont.edu.
