When you need academic materials for your classes and research, The Claremont Colleges Library is your go-to resource. But when you want to relax with popular materials, public libraries are a great place to turn.

With stay-at-home orders in effect, now is a good time to get a public library card so you can take advantage of their online resources!

  • Public libraries have eBooks. Many have expanded access to even more titles during the COVID-19 crisis.
  • Public libraries also have audiobooks, streaming movies, streaming music, digital magazines, online learning resources, and tons more.

Don’t have a library card already? Some public libraries are loosening residency requirements or allowing users to get online-only cards during this crisis. The Los Angeles County Library is permitting California residents to sign up for a temporary digital library card. Check it out!
